Hello Love,
I’m Tranquilla Golden-Taylor, a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist/Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida. Born and raised in Belle Glade, FL, I always knew I wanted to impact underserved communities. The BIPOC and LGBTQ+ communities are often overlooked or dismissed when we are frequently called upon to support and build for everyone else. I’ve seen the direct impact of racial divide, socioeconomic disparities, and phobia run rampant on individuals and families. Thus, I want to help you step into your strength despite when life tries to knock you down.
I’ve used my unique blend of experiences in education, mental health, and social services to help individuals and families navigate the complexities of life and find their way back to their core. I’ve witnessed accounts of how an unstable home life or lack of love/affection can negatively impact all aspects of a person’s life. In such, I’ve dedicated my career to helping individuals redefine your personal values so you can show up for yourself and your loved ones. This is done by reconnecting with the things that are important to you- yourself, first and foremost, your values, and your interpersonal relationships. At the end of the day, love is love and is the basic foundation of life.
I’ve worked with individuals battling identity issues, low self-esteem, perfectionism, super(wo)man syndrome, relational discord, generational trauma, substance abuse, depression, anxiety, and difficulty adjusting to transitional phases. They all hit the same. They lead to self-doubt, burnout, and emotional cutoffs. I’m here to teach you that there is a different way to live. A way that leads to self-fulfillment, growth, and happiness.
I use an arsenal of interventions derived from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Relational Interpersonal/Multicultural Therapy, The Gottman Method, Solution-Focused Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy and Psychoeducation to promote self-love, self-care, self-preservation, and self-compassion. By enthralling ourselves in these four capacities, I believe we have the basis of everything we need to preserve ourselves and our relationships.
When I’m not working, you can find me on some adventure with my son, Jayden, or with my friends. I enjoy crafting, organizing, discovering new restaurants, or curling up on the couch with a good read learning something new.
Now let’s step into your greatness. How can I help you?
“Always lead with love and the right things will find you.”
